Dean Organizers Take Lesson From Labor
In an attempt to win public support, Howard Dean's campaign is holding neighborhood meetings at the home Dean's supporters. These sessions are led by paid out-of-state coordinators trained by experts in community organizing with the purpose of creating intense personal commitment to a candidate among supporters. This type of campaign model draws on principles of labor organizing.
