At Recovery?s Dawn: Behind the Numbers and the Euphemisms Lie Some Messy Realities
The nation?s economy is recovering and unemployment is falling, but what it means to have a job is changing. More people are working, but more are classified as involuntary part time ? meaning they would like to work full time, more are working for less, and many of those are working two or three part time jobs to be able to pay the bills. Wages for most workers are not keeping up with inflation and the economy is still hemorrhaging manufacturing jobs.
