Group criticizes conditions at Cintas
The National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice has criticized Cintas Corp., the nation's largest uniform supplier, for the treatment of its workers. According to the committee, workers have complained about pay, treatment by bosses and workplace safety. These concerns are similar to those raised by the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees, which has been trying to organize Cintas for the last 16 months. Cinta officials have disputed all charges.
