Jobless Claims Lowest in Nearly 4 Years
The government has reported that U.S. jobless claims have fallen to the lowest level in nearly four years. However, these figures may have been distorted by the seasonal adjustment method used to calculate the data. U.S. retailers posted weak sales in June which could mean a slowdown in consumer spending.
