Firms in dark on addiction
Recent workplace surveys indicate that many companies are not well-equipped to deal with workers' addiction problems. According to experts a major problem is the ?conspiracy of silence? that prevents people from talking openly about drug addiction problems. One way to help an employee with a drug problem is to hold an intervention; however this is a difficult process that requires special expertise.
