Wal-Mart Is Said to Be in Talks to Settle Illegal-Immigrant Case
Wal-Mart has entered into settlement talks with federal prosecutors over the use of illegal immigrants at its stores. Last October federal officials rounded up 250 illegal immigrants when it raided 60 Wal-Mart stores. Wal-Mart officials claim that they were unaware that its janitorial contractors were using illegal immigrants until the raids were conducted.
