Senate OKs Wage Increase
The California State Senate has voted to pass a bill that would raise the hourly minimum wage to $7.75. Business leaders are counting on Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to veto the bill, which they contend would hurt job creation. Supporters of the bill argue that California workers face the highest cost of living in the country.
