Companies trying to attract and retain workers have begun offering extra perks and benefits. Trading Technologies International of Chicago offers its employees 22 paid days off, a commuter's subsidy, and monthly bonuses for reaching sales goals. Experts say there is a clear link between employee satisfaction and the company's profit and production.
