Hotel Workers in 3 Cities Ready to Strike
Hotel workers in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and San Francisco are ready to strike, in an attempt to increase union power in the industry. A key issue at stake in Los Angeles is a contract that would expire at the same time as those for hotel workers in six cities and Hawaii. It is felt that this would give employees more bargaining power in future negotiations.
