Report: High - Tech Job Market Still Bleak
A report conducted for the Washington Alliance of Technology Workers found that the job market for technology has yet to rebound. The job market for high-tech workers shrank by 18.8 percent between March 2001 and April 2004. Slow job growth has been attributed to economic uncertainty that has made companies reluctant to increase hiring and the outsourcing of high-tech jobs out to overseas companies.
