Unions step up outsourcing fight
The AFL-CIO is launching a new Job Tracker database that will let people know which companies are outsourcing jobs. The union estimates that more than 200,000 U.S. companies and subsidiaries have exported or eliminated jobs because of foreign competition since 2001. They hope that the website will encourage people to put pressure on their elected officials to stop outsourcing.
