Donnelley settles race bias lawsuit
R.R. Donnelley & Sons, a Chicago printing company, has agreed to pay $15 million to settle race-discrimination claims. African-American employees alleged that the company had systematically discriminated against black workers through its hiring practices, in the workplace, and in the shutdown of its historic Lakeside Press facility. R.R. Donnelley has admitted no wrongdoing and maintains that the workers' claims are without merit.
