Businesses not in favor of 72
On Tuesday, Californians will vote on Proposition 72 which would require employers with 50 employees to pay 80% of the cost of buying health insurance for their workers. Critics of the proposition point out that this added expense may prompt companies to cut staff or move out of state. Supporters of the proposition, many of them labor unions, say that people need reasonable access to healthcare coverage.
