Plaintiffs to Detail Abercrombie Deal
Abercrombie & Fitch has agreed to pay nearly $50 million to settle a class-action discrimination lawsuit brought against the company by several minority advocacy legal groups. The suit alleged that Abercrombie discouraged applications from minorities to maintain its all-white ?A&F? look. Abercrombie's president said that they decided to settle the suit in order to prevent it from further harming the company.
