Flight attendants threaten to strike
The Association of Flight Attendants, the nation's largest flight attendants union, is planning to hold strike-authorization votes at four major airlines. Union officials are accusing the airlines of using the bankruptcy process to cut workers' pay and other benefits. Strike votes will be tallied by the end of December, at which point union officials will decide whether to walk off the job.
