Canada, the Closer Country for Outsourcing Work
Canada is becoming an increasingly popular destination for outsourcing work. Proximity and cultural similarity has given Canada an advantage over locations such as India and the Philippines. This cultural overlap has been particularly useful in the outsourcing of call center work. It is estimated that Canada had 26,300 call center workstations serving the United States.
