Caterpillar, UAW Reach Tentative Deal
Following a year of negotiations, the United Auto Workers reached a tentative six year contract with Caterpillar, Inc. that covers 9,000 workers in four states. Details of the agreement were not disclosed. Talks resumed this week for the first time since workers rejected the company?s ?last, best and final offer? in August.
