The office holiday party poses several concerns for companies. Potential problems revolve around drinking and driving and inappropriate behavior. Employment law experts say that company parties have been used to help build cases of harassment or hostile work environment. To deal with this many companies are scaling back their office parties and trying to limit the availability of alcohol.
