Union, NHL going back to table
Labor talks between the National Hockey League and the Players Association will resume tomorrow at an undisclosed location. Though no new proposals are expected from either side, the Players Association has asked for a smaller group meeting. Absent from the discussion will be NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and Players Association executive director Bob Goodenow. No North American sports league has lost an entire season because of a labor dispute.
