Rallies Planned Over Cuts in Workers' Comp
A new group that plans to lobby on behalf of injured California workers has scheduled eighteen simultaneous rallies across the state today to protest cuts in workers? compensation benefits. Since the startup funding for the organization was provided by an association comprised of lawyers who represent victims of workplace accidents, some business and insurance industry groups are dismissing the organization as a front for the association.
