Where do airlines go from here?
Executives of major airline companies wonder why some of their competitors are expanding business, adding more planes and selling seats on those planes at even lower prices, at a time when obstacles to profits in that industry remain and threaten to increase. With average airfares continuing to drop, oil prices remaining high and financially strapped competitors managing to stay afloat, these CEO?s are concerned about how much more their companies can afford to cut.
