Poll: Americans Uneasy About Retirement
An Associated Press poll found that millions of Americans are uneasy about retirement. For this reason, Bush may find it difficult to gain public support for the dramatic changes he's proposing for Social Security. Fifty-five percent of Americans say they oppose his plan to create personal accounts, while 39 percent say they support it. Older Americans are particularly resistant to changing social security.
