Wal-Mart Tries to Fix Its Image
Wal-Mart is planning to hold a two-day conference with journalists to improve its public image. Issues to be discussed include employee benefits and global factory standards. At the same time, Wal-Mart must contend with protesters from a Coalition for a Better Inglewood, who are concerned about the company?s plan to open a Supercenter in their community.
