Rising demand for executives to mean more money
Demand for corporate executives rose 12 percent in 2004, meaning it will take more money to convince these sought-after employees to switch jobs. According to a recent survey, employed executives said they expect a pay increase of about 4.8 percent to take on a new job this year. The highest demand for executives is occurring in the health-care industry followed by the medical industry, financial-services, business services, and high-tech companies.
