Some States Push for Health Care Pooling
Ohio, Oregon, and several other states are pushing for legislation which would allow state school districts to pool together to buy health insurance. Proponents argue that doing so would free up money to spend on textbooks and other educational endeavors. Yet teachers' unions see this as an attempt to strip them of collective bargaining rights.
