Housing Prices High for Low Income Workers
A report released by the Center for Housing Policy finds that growing housing prices are far outpacing salary increases for low and moderate income wage earners. Even cities once considered affordable are a concern. Though cities may have historically low interest rates, flat wage growth combined with increased home prices and rents are putting the American dream of owning a home beyond the reach of many community members.
