Not Only Poor Fall Prey to Sex Traffickers: OSCE
Economic conditions in Eastern Europe, notably the lack of jobs, have caused well educated people, not just the poor, to fall prey to human trafficking for the sex trade and cheap labor, European monitors say. Most people leave their country voluntarily, setting their hopes on false job offers; as more and more well educated Europeans are finding it difficult to find jobs, they leave themselves vulnerable to human trafficking.
