Sony revamp cuts 10,000 jobs
Sony's widely anticipated turnaround plan was revealed Thursday, and in part calls for 10,000 job cuts. The 10,000 job cuts come out of a global work force of 154,000. Analysts said it was hard to see how these cuts would achieve more than an earlier round of layoffs by the company, which has tried to trim 20,000 jobs over the last two years.
