Delta's Comair to cut up to 1,000 jobs
As part of its restructuring campaign, Delta Air Lines' regional unit Comair plans to cut up to 1,000 jobs. Comair will also seek to reduce wages and benefits for its pilots, flight attendants and mechanics, as well as white collar executives' salaries. The job cuts, equivalent to 14 percent of Comair's work force, were not included in the previous Delta figure calling for up to 9,000 cuts.
