Workers Are Pressing Gillette Over Conditions at Packaging Plants
Temporary workers are up in arms over Gillette's treatment of them at packaging plants. Scores of workers complain that Gillette has gone too far in relying on temporary workers, a practice that they say is fostering poverty, destabilizing families and undercutting communities. A Gillette spokesman said the company was looking into labor practices at the plants.
