Delta Pilots Rally in Defense of Contract
Delta Air Lines pilots put on a united front Tuesday in defense of their contract which the airline wants a bankruptcy court to void so it can impose deep pay and benefit cuts. The pilots have threatened to strike, and maintain that their threat is not a bluff. The company said in court papers Monday that if the pilots strike it will put the Atlanta-based carrier out of business. The company believes the strike would violate the Railway Labor Act.
