Volkswagen to Build New Model in Portugal
German automaker Volkswagen AG said Friday it would build a new model of car at its sprawling Autoeuropa plant in Setubal, Portugal. Autoeuropa workers and management reached a preliminary pay and overtime agreement late Thursday after five months of negotiations. The deal granted workers a 2.5 percent wage increase. Volkswagen didn't offer any details about the new model.
