Delphi Delays Motion to Void Union Contracts
Bankrupt auto parts supplier Delphi Corp. on Friday said it would delay to the end of March filing court papers to void its labor contracts and to cut retiree benefits, citing progress in talks with unions and its former parent General Motors. Delphi said it would file the motions no later than March 31 if it cannot reach an agreement with GM and the unions to slash U.S. wage and labor costs.
