Local Delphi union holds strike vote as negotiations progress
Members of Delphi Corp.'s second-largest union began voting Thursday on whether to strike if a bankruptcy judge decides to cancel the auto supplier's labor contracts. A local branch of the International Union of Electrical Workers-Communications Workers of America was the first to hold a vote. Local 755, based in Kettering, Ohio, represents around 1,000 employees at a Delphi brake plant.
