Japan Airline Pilots Threaten Strike
Negotiations are underway between the managers of Japan's two largest airlines and representatives from pilot labor unions to avert a strike that could affect almost 15,000 passengers on domestic flights. While the 24-hour strike would not affect international flights, there are threats that other unions could join in the work stoppage, causing nearly 60,000 more passengers to be affected.
