Union Leader, Out of Jail, Vows to Fight No-Strike Law
Roger Toussaint, the president of the transit workers' union, sounded as defiant as ever after finishing his jail sentence over the weekend. As he exited the jailhouse, Toussiant criticized the judge who sentenced him, the state law that his union violated and the chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
