Norwegian footballers mull strike
Unionised Norwegian soccer players are considering strike action after central pay and conditions talks collapsed. The players want a minimum wage, the right to choose the proper equipment needed to do their jobs, and insurance cover against injury-shortened careers. But the clubs, represented by the national employers' organisation, have responded by threatening a lock-out.
