In the aftermath of winning a $172 million verdict involving missed meal breaks, workers at Wal-Mart are asking a judge to order the company to pay for those breaks, and to appoint and independent auditor to monitor the company's break practices. Wal-Mart's attorneys claim that such an order is unnecessary, since the retailer already abides by California law with regards to employee breaks.
