Unite Here, a labor union that represents approximately 90,000 hospitality workers, is sponsoring an organization dedicated to tracking the employee relations of hotels and resorts. The organization, the Informed Meetings Exchange, is nominally intended to help hotel patrons avoid entanglement in labor disputes; hotel management representatives, however, see it as an attempt to pressure various hospitality chains that are about to enter negotiations with the union.
