Army Awards Tactical Vehicle Contract to Wisconsin Firm
A manufacturing company in Wisconsin called Oshkosh Corp. recently won a $6.7 billion contract to manufacture new vehicles that will replace a majority of the Humvees used by the U.S. military. This new contract will allow the company to hire at least 100 new employees. Just last year, Oshkosh fired 760 employees as a result of decreased defense spending.
