Federal Appeals Court: Tyson Foods Doesn't Underpay Workers
On Wednesday, a Federal Court of Appeals ruled that Tyson Foods should not be required to compensate its workers for the time they spend putting on or taking off safety gear. The court stated that employees who filed the lawsuit were unable to obtain evidence that proving that Tyson Foods agreed to pay the workers for that time. The safety gear takes approximately 30 mins to put on and take off every shift that the employees work.
