Low-Income Workers See Biggest Drop in Paychecks
Even though we have seen economic growth and low unemployment levels over the last few years, wages have fallen for most employees. People who fall into the lowest wage bracket have actually seen the greatest decline in wages. A study released by the Economic Policy Institute shows that even though many companies have experienced large profit growth since 2000, all of that additional income was paid out to top executive and shareholders rather than lower-level employees of the companies.
