Autoworkers’ Union Reaches Tentative Deal With Fiat Chrysler
After three days of bargaining, the United Automobile Workers (UAW) union and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reached a tentative agreement on Tuesday. The UAW hopes that this agreement with Fiat Chrysler will create a pattern for other large automobile manufacturers in Detroit. The UAW was asking for a pay increase for both its entry level and veteran workers. Details of the new agreement have not been released at this time.
