São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro Are Expected to Ban Uber
In Brazil, Sao Palo and Rio de Janeiro are expected to ban Uber. Several councils in Brazil passed bills that would prevent any services such as Uber in the two cities. After the councils met, Uber released a statement offering to create 30,000 jobs in the cities by October of 2016. The people of Brazil worry that companies such as Uber will hurt taxi drivers' business.
