Ford Given Five-Day Strike Notice at Key F-150 Plant by U.S. Union
On Tuesday, the United Auto Workers union threatened to take industrial action for five days at a Ford F-150 plant over disputes for a new labor contract. The company is currently in negotiations over contracts for 57,200 workers as well as an additional 7,500 at Ford's pant in Missouri. Union members claim that Ford has not negotiated in good faith over its local contracts in the past.
