A week ago, employees of Air France stormed into a meeting about job cuts and physically attacked two senior managers. Several of those employees were arrested at their homes today. Earlier this year, Air France tried to negotiate with its pilots over a new contract. The pilots refused and in response the company has decided to cut 2,900 jobs in an effort to lower costs.
