Workers at B&H Photo Video, Citing Hazards, Move to Unionize
Employees of B&H Photo Video, located in Brooklyn, New York, claim that they have been forced to work in unsafe conditions for long hours and were never given proper training. Yesterday, the United Steelworkers union filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that will give the employees an opportunity to vote to unionize in approximately 25 days. So far, around 80% of the employees have signed cards stating that they would like to be represented by the Steelworkers union.
