U.A.W. Members at Fiat Chrysler Ratify Union Contract
On Thursday, the 77% of the Fiat Chrysler employees voted to ratify a new four-year agreement that will cover 4,000 salaried workers and 36,000 hourly workers. The workers, who are represented by the United Auto Workers union, recently voted to rejected a proposal. This new contract includes better wages for workers and better job security. Fiat Chrysler issued a statement saying that despite negotiations, it will still be able to meet its production goals.
