Lufthansa Cabin Crew Strike Affects 113,000 Passengers
On Monday, cabin crew from the European airline Lufthansa walked off the job in three airports in Germany. This strike has affected travel for approximately 113,000 passengers. The crew has staged this strike over cost cutting measures that the airline is implementing. The pilots plan to strike throughout the rest of the week at various airports, so travel on this airline will continue to be disrupted. So far, the airline has had to cancel 929 connecting flights because of the strike.
