Teachers Protest in Hungary, Threaten 1-Hour Strike March 30
On Tuesday, tens of thousands of Hungarians turned out in Budapest to protest government educational policies in the biggest anti-government rally in the country since 2014. Teachers are also threatening a one hour strike on March 30th, unless the government initiates "meaningful talks on education reforms." The protests are over issues of increased bureaucracy and extreme centralization in education.
